Prevost Construction was originally hired by Greg Sancoff, an entrepreneur in the medical instruments field to build an 11,000 SF clean room in Carlsbad for a start up company called Block Medical. As Sancoff continued to develop new products, Prevost was there to perform construction services in a variety of different manufacturing facilities. At RIVER MEDICAL, Prevost constructed new class 10,000 clean rooms and adapted an existing office building to accommodate the medical instruments manufacturer. Shown below is the injection molding area which included installation of process piping and an integrated chilled water loop system.
