Prevost Construction completed customized tenant improvements for the specialized electronics testing labs and office space for Texas Instruments, the largest tenant in the two-building Sorrento South Corporate Center. Prevost Construction was retained by WCB Properties, the building's then owner, to work on the 46,050-square-foot space which allows for the testing and development of wireless communications products. Large open office floor plans were utilized to provide office space for executives as well as support staff for the laboratory operations. The west tower was retrofitted with a new 120-ton cooling tower to provide independent, 24-hour AC to the critical operations performed in the lab areas.
